YOU CAN CURSE THE DARKNESS OR LIGHT A CANDLE...

Welcome to HENRYGREEN.NET, the web site of Rev. Henry Green. I hope the information you discover on this site will be educational and inspirational for your journey. The Lord requires three things of us according to Micah 6:8, "to act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God." Expecting to see a difference in our world requires a willingness to follow a path of justice and mercy with humility. Will you join me in this journey?

Albert Camus once said, “In the midst of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.”  Another writer, Charles A. Beard said, “When it is dark enough you can see the stars.”  Robert Alden said, “There is not enough darkness to put out the light of even one small candle.”  All of these writers understood the difficulties of the world in their day.  They also understood the meaning of facing down the darkness and finding the path to the future with hard work and a recognition of the need for living with grace and forgiveness.  That is what we must do in these days.  We are responsible for how we face this moment in time.

Do you curse the darkness or light a candle?

We have the ability to face down the darkness and light a candle to rise above cynicism and pessimism. I believe this is our strongest argument for faith.

Accomplishing significant and meaningful work begins with positive and solution centered people committed to best practices with the best information available, the highest level of respect for all, a willingness to build an environment of encouragement, and the leadership ability to see and accomplish what is beneficial for those we serve in our community.

I look forward to be of service to your business, congregation, or non-profit group. Please contact me through this site or henrygreenconsulting.com.

Sincerely,

Henry Green
